[OOC] Permissions/Stats Meme (Updated Version)
I have updated this thing on pretty much a monthly basis since Bonten got in, so yes, it actually does deserve revision and reposting. SORRY FOR THE SPAM, GUYS.

Name: Bonten
Age: ...20ish? God, don't ask me. Takayama fails at ages.
Height: Average
Weight: Lighter than you'd think. He's a bird, after all.
Eyes: Green
Hair: Blond

Physical Traits: Bonten's pretty distinctive! He has a piercing in his right ear that's attached with a chain to a hoop through his lip. He also has six dots around his left eye, three on top and three at the bottom. Aside from that, he's just... really pretty. Despite some of his icons, you will not see his wings except in very specific circumstances, if at all.



What's Okay To Mention Around Him: Anything's fine!

Abilities: Bonten is one of the four "heavenly beings" or "gods" (teeeechnically, at least) in his world. Basically, this is a complicated way of saying that he's one of the four people in Edo who can separate his soul from his body. Which means he can possess other people if the mood strikes him. When he does this, that person will take on aspects of his appearance, like his hair color, face shape, and eye markings.

Another power is the fact that he infringes on Ticky's trademarks. That's right. He can stick his hand inside people's bodies and, if he really wanted, rip out their hearts, which he's threatened to do in the past. More often than that, though, the way he uses this is to pull out people's memories, which he can then see with his left eye. It's a handy information-gathering technique. NOTE: If he views your memories in this way, Toki will also be able to see them. They have some funky eye-to-eye connection going on.

He also has the ability to "restore things that once existed and were lost." This, uh, very vague-sounding power is actually his most important. It doesn't seem like he can bring back the dead per se, but he can create a new life out of part of something dead. EXAMPLE: his servant Utsubushi was created from a skull he found. This actually probably ties into his ability to view memories, since they are also "things that once existed."

NOTE: When he gained these powers, he also gained a sort of... counterbalance. Bonten has to sleep a lot. If he doesn't nap, he WILL pass out eventually. It's pretty much implied to be impossible for him to stay awake for an entire day without ending up unconscious for a few days as a result.

Notes for the Psychics: ...hahahaha. If you poke around, he'll try to kick your ass. We don't actually know everything there is to know about Bonten's motives at this point in the manga, so if anyone wants to browse around in his head, they'll probably want to avoid that kind of thing. Mostly, though, what you see with him is what you get. Except for if he's trying to act badass, because he's, uh, really kind of a softy.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: But of course.

Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Yes please. 8D

Maim/Murder/Death: As always, if I put him in a fight situation, I'm expecting there to be the possibility of injury. Death isn't something I'm interested in except for in seriously comedic Ichijou-san-esque situations.

Cooking: ...I severely doubt it.
