Drop Meme/State of the Union/Thing Where I Ramble A Lot.



Larxene
IC: Sora's back and doesn't remember his deal with Marluxia: BAD. Riku's back and doesn't remember her: BAD. Namine's back and can act as a verbal punching bag: ... YAY?!

OOC: HAHAHA oh, Larxene. I almost drop her at least twice a year. But I still love her as a character, even though I'm really not feeling it right now and... haven't been for like six months, oops. Her threads are always super short, and she hasn't had a paid account in months because it seems like a waste.

Plans: Do the torture poll again...?

Drop Status: I probably should, but I don't want to. I'm hoping that the release of Re: CoM in English will help me get excited about playing her again.

Rinali
IC: She's in a pretty good place right now! Allen's back from hiatus his mysterious sleeping incident, the cannibals are happy, etc etc. It's October, which always makes her wary, but it's her third October since coming to camp, so she's not exactly worried about being able to handle it.

OOC: Rinali's the character whose voice I probably should worry about the most, since I switch between reading raws and various translation teams depending on what's available. As a result, I'm pretty sure her voice is a weird mish-mash of these different mediums. But... she's one of the characters I settle into the easiest, so I can't bring myself to really care. I don't worry about her actions, since I'm fairly confident her mindset is IC, I just occasionally worry about her phrasing.

Plans: Canon update!

Drop Status: NO SIR YOU WILL PRY HER FROM MY COLD, DEAD FINGERS. DGM, oddly, is the canon I least care for, but Rinali is so many awesome things bundled into one sexy, sweet, kickass package that I don't see myself dropping her unless canon totally Josses me.

Katou
IC: For all he's trying to act the same as always, Katou's a little bummed out. Kid's gone, which means Katou's the only one left of the Mamori/Hiruma/Kid/Katou foursome. It's not really angst, since he knows that when he goes home he'll see them again, but he does miss them. Rociel being around really puts him on edge, too. He's been playing "taunt the happy fun psycho angel" perhaps a bit more than he should in an attempt to take Rociel's attention off people he cares about. Oh well. He's probably due for another maiming/death.

OOC: Katou goes back and forth between being my primary and more of a backburner. That doesn't bother me, since it's been that way since I apped him. He's my old standby!

Plans: Bother people more, both old (Rabi, Ahiru) and new (Katan, Secret). Get maimed over Halloween.

Drop Status: Nah. Maybe someday, but he's my baby.

Judas
IC: Judas is... surprisingly good! His budding friendships with people in camp are progressing, Chal has a human form and is ttly his boyfriend omg, and... he's quietly, tentatively happy. Of course, being happy makes him a little suspicious, because his life has the tendency to go to shit whenever he gets too content, but still.

OOC: My success story! Around this time last year, I was nearly sure I was going to drop him. I just had no motivation to play him, I'd lost his voice, I was sure I was totally OOC -- you name it, I had that problem. Luckily, I decided to hold onto him until the Director's Cut came out. And that magical, magical bit of software fixed all my problems. I love Judas to pieces and while I'll still probably drop him eventually, I can't see it coming anytime soon.

Plans: Kill stuff during Halloween, jump Oz/Fay/Symphonia cast lots.

Drop Status: Noooooooooooo. My little emo tsundere fuzzball. MINE.

Cain
IC: Jizabel leaving was both a relief and a sadness for Cain, since he really wishes there was a way to at least get along with the man now that [SPOILER] they're both dead [/SPOILER]. But overall he's quite comfortable. Which leads me to...

OOC: I've actually been having trouble with Cain recently: he takes a lot of energy to play, his threads seemed boring to me, and in general he was lacking the spark that I knew he needed. But I wasn't sure why this was! And then CFUW came around and gave me the opportunity to play Cain's cold, bitchy side, and I realized it was because things are too comfortable for him in camp right now. I need to throw him at more people he'll dislike and get him into awful situations. I missed playing that side to him!

Plans: See above. Also: genderswitch.

Drop Status: Not anytime soon, I don't think.

Bonten
IC: Aside from missing Utsubushi and fluctuation between wanting to jump Ginshu and strangle her, both of which have been constants since he came to camp a year ago, he's pretty good. Bonten's general state of being is aloof tsundere, so.

OOC: I CANNOT COUNT THE NUMBER OF TIMES I'VE BEEN JOSSED IN TINY WAYS SINCE I GOT HIM IN. Um. I don't want to look back on his threads from when I first got him in, because they're probably totally wrong. That isn't to say I think I was OOC -- I think I was pretty darn IC for what we knew at the time, but... I was just dead wrong when it came to a lot of the facts about Ginshu and Byakuroku. H-hahaha. All the same, I love playing Bonten, and I'm still fairly comfortable about it despite all the little (and some not-so-little) tweaks to my mindset I've had to make. I'll just... keep tweaking as events warrant.

Plans: One day, it is my dearest hope that Takayama will make it so that I can canon update. In the less nebulous future, I'd like to deage again, and do the nail-painting post with Ginshu.

Drop Status: NO.

Sebastian
IC: I DON'T EVEN KNOW, MAN. HE'S SEBASTIAN. There's cats, there's young master, things could be worse.

OOC: My backburner character. I knew he wasn't going to get out much when I apped him, so I'm okay with that. He's just not really meant for long threads unless he's mindraping someone. Which I need to do. Needs moar scary demon butler threads.

Plans: Scary demon butler threads! Probably related to Halloween.

Drop Status: ... ehhh, he's up near the top of the "if I NEED to drop someone..." list. If I ever get tired of having a purely backburner character, he'll get the boot.

Screw
IC: This meme is getting really long, so I'll just say he's fairly zen.

OOC: Screw is the other character whose voice I should probably worry about more than I do. I'm worried that sometimes it blurs with Katou and Fuuto's, though I try to keep all three of them separate with slightly different types of casual. Um. I'm pretty zen with Screw, though I'd like to get him to meet more people and form some slightly closer relationships.

Plans: Keep tossing him at the DW/Torchwood cast, keep being dumb with Spike. Something with Batsu.

Drop Status: If I needed to ditch a character, after Sebastian, Screw would come next. But I don't feel any particular need to drop him.

Fuuto
IC: Fuuto sees camp as a particularly long slip through the time-space continuum, so he's not worried that he'll get home eventually, but boy would he like it if it happened soon. He misses Mayu tremendously (HINT HINT), especially now that Atisha is here. Atisha being here is something that makes him really happy, since at the point I took him from he was just about to suggest going to visit him anyway. Fuuto cares for Atisha quite a bit and wants to find ways to expose Atisha to the normal world and have him do happy things! Preferably with Mayu in tow (HINT HINT).

OOC: Ahhh, Fuuto is tremendously easy for me to play. And I love doing it. His mixture of bitchy teen and surprisingly enlightened thinker is what drew me to him in the first place, so I hope I'm Doing It Right here in camp.

Plans: Thread more with Atisha and Hakuren, meet new people, bodyswitch with Atisha... etc.

Drop Status: LOL NO.
